Being vulnerable in life is important. It fosters good emotional and mental health. Oftentimes, it’s misunderstood as being submissive or weak. Vulnerability is the courage to be yourself. It’s the basis of all creativity and connection. The more in-tune you are with your authentic self, the more you align with your soul purpose.
Showing vulnerability in your relationships strengthens them and gives you more satisfaction in life – trust that.
Here are some tips to start embracing your vulnerability and fully accept yourself today:
- Acknowledge how you feel. To become aware of your feelings, go to soulloop’s My Mood and enhance the perception of your emotions. Knowing yourself and admitting your vulnerability is the first and most important step you can take.

2. Activate your heart chakra, which is connected to unconditional (self) love. Practice soulloop’s Heart Chakra Meditation on the app and express your love for others with more empathy and compassion.
3. Work on healing yourself and others. On the app’s home screen, select Relationships as the life area and then choose the 8-step Healing practice. Carry out the sequence in order.
4. Take a risk. Dare yourself to be vulnerable by opening up to someone you might otherwise shy away from; share your story with a small group of people. Do what feels right, but also a little scary.
The most important thing to remember is that the process is rarely linear. Vulnerability is about showing up. Once you start to live an authentic life, you’ll attract others that are doing the same.
Vulnerability is the birthplace of connection, opportunity, and belonging. It can take practice to get onto the path, but the good news is that you don’t have to walk it alone!
